These courses are designed to supplement the students’ English classes from their school. As such, our courses cover six years of material in approximately four years. Our courses focus on the grammar topics that are the most confusing and/or most critical for students to master and try to explain the concepts efficiently and effectively. In addition, our teachers will help students to develop their abilities in writing, reading, listening and vocabulary.
Writing is usually one of the hardest parts for English students. Our writing class helps students develop their ability to write. Classes cover topics from planning what to write to common writing formats; from proper grammar usage to rhetorical devices such as metaphors (E.g., my dog is a bear.). Most important of all, we help students realize that writing isn’t as hard as they believe.
Designed for older students who are transferring to a new primary school or applying to secondary school, this course focuses on aspects the students need to develop. We also help students prepare for the face-to-face interview. Depending on which school the student is preparing for, we help with any other aspects of the interview process as well.
